Its protective layer can help reduce light wash-induced micro-marring, depending on the coating and how the vehicle is cared for. Paint still needs careful washing; a coating does not make it scratch-proof, stop rock chips, or remove existing damage.

Do I need paint correction before a ceramic coating?
It depends on your paint’s condition and the finish you want. Paint correction can reduce swirls and surface imperfections before a coating is applied. We’ll discuss your vehicle and recommend the preparation that makes sense for it.
Will a ceramic coating prevent scratches or rock chips?
The added coating layer can help reduce light wash-induced micro-marring, depending on the product and care. It won’t make your paint scratch-proof or stop rock chips. Careful washing remains essential, and a coating cannot repair existing scratches.
How long will the coating last?
We offer 1-year, 3–5-year, and 7–8-year coating options. We’ll recommend a level based on your vehicle and ownership plans. These durability ranges depend on the product, preparation, use, and maintenance; they are not an unconditional lifespan guarantee.
Will I still need to wash my vehicle?
Yes. A ceramic coating can make routine washing easier, but your vehicle still needs regular cleaning and appropriate maintenance. We’ll explain the washing and maintenance routine for your chosen coating.
